Vacation Ownership Sales Rise 4% According to Vacation Ownership WORLD

Vacation Ownership WORLD’s 2011 Sales Leader Survey – the only research that provides company-specific annual sales data of the leading timeshare and fractional developers, has just been released.

Among the highlights of this year’s Survey:

In 2011, overall vacation ownership sales rose 4% as compared to 2010. Timeshare sales increased 3.3%. Fractional sales grew 8.3%.

Top Ten Sales Leader companies now compose 87.5% of the market, as measured by market share. This is up sharply over pre-crisis levels of around 70%.

More developers reported an increase in sales than a decrease in sales. This compares to the situation just two years ago, when 75% of developers experienced a loss.
